I just finished up another “Baby Parts” session. It was so much fun. The baby was 3 months old so she was more active than the usual babies for these sessions. But none the less we made it work and it had GREAT results. The baby loved the bucket and it also kept her from moving everywhere.

I visited a studio the other day and they had a dog. He was so friendly and cute. My girls LOVE dogs! So my husband (Paul) and I talked about our dogs when we were kids and decided that our girls should have one too – especially since they are all over friends and families pets. We started with a puppy because this way it will like our girls and know our girls and hopefully we wont have temperamental problems. This lil’ guy, whom we named “Duke” (Big name for a lil’ guy right?) is such a sweet, snuggly, fun loving guy. He is an 8 week old Toy poodle and wont get any bigger than around 7 pounds, so he will be just perfect. Some day when my studio is moved out of my home hopefully “Duke” will go to the studio with me and keep me company as this photographers dog did! RIght now Duke is curled up in my lap sleeping with a full belly after lunch and Hailey (my 2 year old) right next to us!
